Sir Ronald Cohen, impact investing pioneer, delivering opening remarks.
In 2014, Optibus began with just Eitan Yanovsky and Amos Haggiag, two computer scientists driven to turn their passion for solving complex mathematical challenges into a business that creates a meaningful difference. Public transportation was teeming with optimization problems that, if solved, would positively impact the environment, the economy, and billions of people around the world.
Optibus’ invitation to close the London Stock Exchange signifies that business must transcend commercial success and offer a social and environmental return on investment. Every member of the Optibus community is helping to build not only a company, but a better world where everyone, everywhere, has access to reliable, efficient, and sustainable public transportation. Our impact can be felt across 35 countries where transportation operators and agencies use Optibus’ technology to improve driver safety and satisfaction, enhance services for passengers, reduce costs, transition to electric buses, and more.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and who has been part of Optibus over the last ten years. As public transportation evolves, Optibus evolves with it. From the challenges of the last decade to whatever lies ahead, Optibus is here to provide solutions for the long haul.
And now - on to the next decade!
